MN1- doubts about the section on Referees!

Post by abcxyz132526 » Tue Sep 30, 2014 11:02 pm

Hi Folks,

Please some one from the forum suggest me about my query:

Me and my daughter want to apply for 'Naturalization' next week, I am fine with Referees but they are questioning me on my baby application to sign. Because my baby just came from India and she born abroad even though me and my wife are in ILR visa status before she was born. Now she is 1y and 4 months, the referees are not clear how to sign the application because baby is away for this long and born in abroad rather than in UK? However referees are in UK and how they come to know about my baby for less than 2 years to sign on baby application?

Hope this helps and makes my query understandable!!!

Please anyone can help me out.

Many Thanks,
ABC.....

if the referees know the parents for 3 years, its ok to sign for the the baby as well.

Hi Folks,

I would like to apply for Naturalization for myself and my daughter where she is 1.4 years old. My question is:

1) She came to UK on 'Indefinite leave to enter' just 3 weeks before and she is 1.4 years old only. So can I apply to my daughter MN1 application same time parallelly with my application AN? Does she is eligible to apply MN1 or does she need to wait any time period to apply?

2) Does referees should know her personally for long? They knew me for 5 years and long!!!!! So in that scenario they can sign on my daughter's application as well along with my one?

3) Any special documentation needed for MN1 on top of me and my wife ILR!

4) Does any one provide 'Written Consent Form' for MN? which is a requirement where parents to be filled this!!!

5) Which NCS is more helpful and through with Documentation with in London?

Sorry but a lot of queries.

Please help me in sorting these queries and I thank in advance.

Regards,
ABC.

Hi ABC,

I may not answer all your questions but i can share my experience.

I've applied my naturalisation last week along with my 1.5 year old baby. baby came from india last year.

Regarding the referees for the MN1, i have got my friends (they know me for years) to sign it. they filled the referees column as 'family friend'.

Regarding the documentation, for MN1, they just need baby's ILR, birth certificate, parents marriage certificate, application form. thats all.

but wait for others to reply as I've just applied last week.
