2 years old child|Special education needs|public funding?

Post by UKBALoveStory » Tue Sep 30, 2014 4:47 pm

Hello,

I am posting this question on behalf of my colleague.

The situation is, she is on Tier 1 Visa and has a 2 year old son (on Tier 1 dependent visa) with special education needs. As per this link he qualifies for the "Free early education" for 2 years old. She herself is earning well so does not qualifies under low income criteria but because of special education needs her son qualifies for free early education.

Now the situation is, his health visitor has initiated a process to get the funding approved for him.

Now the question is, will this funding be treated as public funds for the purpose of immigration?

Any help from moderators/senior members will be highly appreciated

Thanks
