FLRM : First application as spouse in the UK

Post by Ineedyouradvice » Thu Oct 02, 2014 3:19 pm

Hello,

This question has been asked before on this forum before but still not very clear what is acceptable and what is not acceptable.

I wish to ask it again, to have some clarity.

I am in UK on Tier 2 visa and have got MARRIED last week in the UK. 2 weeks later I will be applying for Spouse visa FLR(M).

This is my first application in the UK for spouse visa so I don’t need to provide 6 items of correspondence addressed to me and my sponsor at the same address as evidence that you have been living together.

Please note its only after our marriage, I started living with my husband. My visa application appointment is 2 weeks from my date of marriage. So I would have lived with my husband for only 2 weeks before my visa application.

We have our marriage certificate and photos of us together as proof of our marriage.

My question is do I have to provide any evidence of co-inhabitation with my sponsor?

The tenancy agreement of the rented house where we live together currently has only my husband’s name on it.

Thank you

No for this application, but for subsequent application you will.

My husband and myself are currently working in different cities and rent our accommodation in our respective work cities.

We live live together on weekends and on weekdays live separately.

Section 6: Your relation to your sponsor

6.6 Do you and your sponsor currently live together?

Should my answer be YES as we do live together on weekends. I am currently looking for job in the city were my husband work and live. Till that time we will be living together only on weekends.

Thank you!

I believe Rayking answered your question in this thread;

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
