I have a question, I have recently applied for my british citizenship through the nationality checking services(local council). They have debited the fees but I have not received any acknowledgement letter, however my friend has applied few weeks after I had applied and has received the letter. My only worry is about the letter. can anyone help me in this as the home office says that we need not contact them untl 6 months has passed,
