Family visitor visa for my MOM

I am currently on ILR and would like my mom to stay with me for more as i am not well.

My mom already had a family visitor visa which will be expiring in October. On this particular visa she has just stayed for around a month with me. I would like to get her visa extended whilst she is UK for another 5 months so that she can continue staying with me. Is it possible for her visa to be extended from here itself or does she need to go back to India and extend her visa.

I tried reading guidelines but they are not clear. Please help !!!!

She have to go back to India, visitors can't switch or extended thier visa from inside UK

She could extend if she meets the requirements, it is very expensive though.
