uk tier 1 general dependent visa !!!

Post by msm_raja » Sun Oct 12, 2014 10:12 am

Hi

can you please help me on this? I am really confused.

my husband has tier1 visa valid until 10/2/2016 and will apply for ILR
my tier1 dependent visa was issued on 12/3/2013 and entered UK on 23/6/13 and my dependent visa expires on 10/2/2016.
Am I eligible to apply for ILR along with my husband around 10/2/2016 or should I go for extension? If so, what is the application form and for how many years extension would be provided.

I head that some new rules came for tier 1 dependent visa who entered later in year 2012

If I have to apply for extension, which application should I fill? some say, I have to go for 2 extensions / some say I have to go for 1 extension and some say I can apply for ILR

regards
rupa

No you are not eligible to apply ILR along with your husband you have to meet 5 year continuous residence requirement in order to qualify for ILR

Yes you have to go for another extension by using Tier 1 General dependent form https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _07-14.pdf
