how can I join my British family in the UK

Post by finegirl » Wed Oct 15, 2014 9:05 am

I have a British husband and 3 British children in the UK. However I am stuck in Nigeria and have been visiting them in the UK with visiting visa. I am currently visiting the UK, and my visa expires in less than a month. I want to know if I have any choice in what I can do to remain with my family without returning.

If I apply under ex 1. Para 1, Can I make application to remain with my British family in the UK? Or do I return to Nigeria to apply, if so which form do I use? Or do I return to Nigeria while my husband apply from here? If so which form?

I am hoping I can apply from here whilst still on visit using ex 1 para 1 under human right rules but not sure

You have already been advised in your other thread on what to do

http://www.immigrationboards.com/immigr ... l#p1098305

You cannot switch to another visa in the UK if you are on a visit visa. You will need to return to Nigeria you must apply from there for a spouse visa.
