What is your statement (regarding EEA nationals) based on?Jambo wrote:Normally a passport is enough to prove residence (even for EEA nationals).
Thank you JamboJambo wrote: Small correction to documents required. You don't need to prove residence for last 12 months but the full 5 years of residence required for naturalisation. The PR doesn't prove you meet the naturalisation requirements (as PR requirements are different). Normally a passport is enough to prove residence (even for EEA nationals).
Greetings everyone,Jambo wrote:

As opposed to option 1 that requites proof of treaty rights. You still need to apply using the same process (form AN, fee etc).phyrrus wrote:Greetings everyone,Jambo wrote:

Jambo, you wrote in Q5 on the 'Read before posting post' about applying for naturalisation as EEA national via acquiring PR first and then applying after 1 year or more.
"
2. Apply 1 year after the issue date of the PR Confirmation (EEA3/EEA4). In this case, there is no need to prove treaty rights again and normally just your passport (and Life in the UK test) is required. "
So if I do get PR first and then wait for at least 1 year, what would be the procedure for applying for naturalisation. Should I still use form AN? What do you mean by 'just your passport and life in the UK test'?
