The majority of cases that were on hold which were from 2013 and early 2014 have now been processed. Don't think they would be many applications on hold from May June or July 2014. So hopefully processing times should speed up a bit.

BHC in pakistan did release a statement stating that applications that were on hold would be processed in date order. This statement has now been removed from their website, which hopefully means that they are nearing their backlog.

Hence most likely from next month onwards applications will be processed as in the past depending on luck! :)

@tallojani Thanks for answering my question, also can you pls help me with another concern that I have. Can you pls clarify is commission can be used to make up the £1550 per month n what about overtime and shift allowance do all these things count.... Basically if I include my commission shift allowance and a couple of hours of overtime I can easily make £1550 a month. Without that I am just under. do these extras count
Working over-time is fine and even the commission shifts, so long as the extra pay is also showing in your payslips and corresponding bank statements. Make sure that all payslips submitted do not drop under the £1550 monthly threshold otherwise your lowest payslip will be used to calculate your yearly income.

I would advise you to get your employer to include on your employment letter that you are also able to work paid overtime and commission shifts, so that it is crystal clear for ECO.

As long as gross amount is above the minimum income threshold you will be fine. if you receive weekly payslips make sure you provide 26 weeks worth of payslips and NOT 6 MONTHS.; AS THE NUMBER OF DAYS IN EACH MONTH WILL VARY I.E. SOME MONTHS CONTAIN 30 DAYS AND SOME 31 DAYS; SO SIX MONTHS MAY NOT EQUATE TO 26 WEEKS.

Dear mrs. Hussain,

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status and date of birth and found that the application has been processed and a
decision has been made.

Please note that your passport and documentation could still take some time
to reach you whilst being sent back from the decision making centre and
whilst other administrative formalities are completed. The visa application
centre will be in contact with you regarding the collection or delivery.

If you have purchased a courier service then your documents will be
dispatched to the delivery address you have provided. We appreciate your
patience while you wait to receive your documents.

We strongly recommend not to book prepaid travel and accommodation before
receiving the visa.

Please make duaa for me!!!!

Express wrote:Hi,

I have a similar query.

My case has been refused as my "Annual Salary" as a director did not Tott up to the £18,600 as I only worked as a company director for 10 months of the Company Tax Return CT600 (01/04/2012 - 31/03/2013).

My work commenced as an Employee on 4 June 2012 in which I was paid at £796. My role as a company director commenced on 1 November 2012 when I was paid £1323. These dates were confirmed on my "employment details" letter compiled by my employer and my stat dec.

A total of 16 wage slips were submitted. The wage slips were from June 2012 (when employment commenced) till April 2013. Further wage slips were also submitted from May till September 2013 to show regular payments as a director.

The refusal letter:

"I have examined your sponsors wage slips, you have submitted 10 wage slips that show an average monthly income of £1,184.50. This equates to an annual income of £14,214.00 this is insufficient to meet their financial requirements of appending X appendix FM".

The sole reason is the salary for this particular tax year. Do I have a case to appeal? What are my chances with this?

Your expertise and advice will be much much appreciated.
Did u apply as self employed ?
