Tier1 (General) Migrant Funds Maintenance for Visa Extension

Hi,

I have discussed about the funds Maintenance in other threads and apologies for creating a new topic for the same conversation but it has different information in this thread.

I have called UKVI on this contact number 0300 123 2241 regarding Funds Maintenance for Tier1 General Migrant Visa and Dependants Extensions and enquired how much Funds should I maintain/show for three of us while going for extension.

I got a reply that "I DO NOT NEED TO SHOW/MAINTAIN FUNDS BECAUSE I AM APPLYING FOR VISA EXTENSION WITH IIN UK AND FUNDS MAINTENANCE IS REQUIRED ONLY WHEN YOU ARE MAKING NEW APPLICATION FOR DEPENDANTS FROM OUTSIDE OF UK "

Is this valid information? Have you guys seen such information in the UKVI Website? Kindly clarify if the received response is accurate.

The information you received is wrong
please see page 29 and no 154 of Tier 1 General policy guideline

I really wonder how UKVI persons do not aware of this. Luckily, Immigration Board knowledged people like you keep us on the right track with the accurate information.
