Query: HSMP Dependents Visa

Post by ns7 » Tue Aug 28, 2007 9:17 pm

I came to UK (from India on HSMP) in May this year but started working in mid of June. I want to apply for hsmp dependent visa of my wife and kid around mid of September. I have following questions regarding the visa application:

(1) In September I will have 3 bank statements and 2 salary slips (Since in June I couldn't get enrolled to the company's payroll so I got some portion of June salary as advance in July and rest with the July salary. July salary slip is showing June salary amount as arrears. The best I can do is that I can have a letter from company mentioning about June salary. Will this be sufficient?

(2) At present I am staying with my friend (bank statement and salary slip have this address). Definitely I would be shifting to independent accommodation but I don't want shift before my family gets the visa. So I am planning to search for an accommodation where I can shift in October and get the tenacy agreement around mid of September. Would it be fine if enclose the copy of tenancy agreement for the accommodation where I would be moving in future?

(3) Do I need to enclose the original documents e.g. my pay slips, bank statements etc or xerox copies should be sufficient?

(4) Can my family come to UK alone once they get the visa or do I need to accompany them in their first visit?

Thanks & Regards,
ns7

In response...

1) I would suggest waiting until you get the third payslip before applying. Definitely send the employer letter and bank statements as well.

2) The future tenancy agreement will be fine

3) Always originals, or certified/notorised copies

4) They can come on their own.
