It could be days or weeks or months. It all depends on what the ECO is checking i.e. employment. But myself and others received the same message and a few weeks later we received updates that checks had been completed and the application was with the ECO. Inshallah we will hear soon

Ali 2014 - We applied in exact same centre Mirpur on same day 15th September!

I have received esclations, then pre-assessment online done, then no updates, I hope my next update is with an ECO! hopefully if yours with ECO should not be too long, I will probably chase more when its 12 weeks over around December 15th I presume!

Anyway best of luck to everyone!

Applied at: Mirpur
Application Date: 15th September 2014

Hi Umeraali.
Have you recently emailed UKVI because i emailed them and they told me checks were being done, then the second time "no updates were available" and that it may be due to recently applying or giving incorrect info lol, and then last week i emailed again and they said it was in progress with an eco.
I'll probably check again in about 4 weeks time if i haven't heard anything, by then 12 weeks will be up too. But inshallah i will here before :)

After escalating twice or thrice got an email stating that

I have received a response regarding your escalated case and found that your application status
states: "Initial pre assessment and online verification conducted. Under
process for further enquiries – checks". Your patience in this regard is
highly appreciated.

Can anyone tell me how much long will it take i applied on july 17th 2014

Better u get intouch with ur lawyer as these court matters are best dealt by them .he can then guide u further as in what u need to bring ..my common sense tells me that any new evidence that can go in rHe favour of ur case u must take that ..and whatever documents u provided with ur case they already for them ..they even got a copy of ur appeal papers ..so they would have got ur file right in front of them ..hope that solves ur wuquery
My husband will represent me in the court.

Asked for update on application status, as I have received nothing back from the escalation.

Got a reply today saying they've re-escalated it.

Not what I asked them for. They're incompetent. I'm seriously fed up with the whole process, I do not understand why they lack the ability to understand plain english.

Kehkeshan - I think you should ask you local MP to contact UKVI and chase them up. You will get a accurate response within 2 weeks and hopefully it will make them process it.

I think its a problem in the system a lot of people are getting the same reply with no updates. Hopefully in a few days check your status because they may have updated the system.
