Tier 1 (General) dependent visa refused

Post by riasubo » Sat Nov 08, 2014 10:24 am

Hello All,

"You were married on 12/12/2014 and have submitted your marriage certificate and two wedding photographs. However this stands alone as evidence of your relationship. Without further documentary evidence I am not satisfied that this is a genuine and subsisting relationship and that it is your intention to live together permanently in the UK as required by paragraph 319C (d and e) of HC395.
I have therefore refused your application because I am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities that you meet all of the requirementsof the relevant Paragraph of the United Kingdom Immigration Rules."

I got court married in India on 13 October and my wife applied for Tier 1 dependent visa with the marriage certificate as evidence for our marriage. The traditional wedding is planned for 12 December. The ECO found this future date on the wedding invitation card we submitted. I am not sure if this caused a confusion but he does not see the marriage certificate as sufficient evidence of relationship. Please can someone tell us what documents should i submit as evidence of relationship ? I do not want to re-appeal as it takes long. I will make a fresh application.
Also, can someone tell us if there are any good immigration consultants/lawyers in London to help on the case.

Thanks.
