To be honest from all the Visa Application Centres at the moment it seems that Mirpur is the one furthest behind. So i think there will be a long wait for most of us, with the odd few being processed before the 12 week target. but you should be hearing soon inshallah.

BHC would still need to carry out further checks on other areas of the application. they can't refuse you on i.e. on the finance side and not carry out checks on other areas because if the applicant appeals, then the courts will only look at the refusal point stated on the refusal letter. Hope it makes sense.

copy bank statements are fine as long as they are signed and stamped by the bank manager or are accompanied with bank headed letter confirming there authenticity.

Make 2 copies of everything you submit. One copy you keep for reference and the other copy plus the original are given to gerry's.

Scanned copies won't work, either with signature and stamp or originals.

ONLY SUPPLY ORIGINALS OTHERWISE YOUR APPLICATION WILL MOST CERTAINLY BE REFUSED. You are better off doing everything properly the first time round even if it takes a few weeks extra rather than rushing and being refused over something petty. I would advise you to list your documents here that you will be submitting and then we can hopefully guide you through it.

Don't use scanned copy, in fact as Ali2014 suggested don't rush and list your documents here along with details what's original / photo copy / scanned copy so you get better suggestion.

W.A.Salaam,

That's much better. Can't suggest about Mirpur, DHL take about 3 to 4 days for Karachi.

Make sure the money has stayed in the account for the past 6 months without dropping in amount.
Bank statements must be printed in the branch, stamped by the branch and signed by the person (who stamped them), or a covering letter signed by the person confirming statements are authentic.

There is no way they will accept scan copies from UK, everything has to be original. You should photocopies all the documents twice, one copy + originals go to gerrys and 1 copy remains with you for your reference.
May Allah swt make it easy for us all

Is the house owned by you or family, if family you will need letter from owner stating that you can live at the address.

Make sure cash savings have not dropped below the threshold even by a penny in the last 6 months
