Proof of Relationship

Hi guys,

Just want to know what evidence I require for proof of relationship. We have been together for 4 years and I am not sure of emails or pictures would cut it. As half the relationship we spent apart

According to your previous post your wife is living with you in the UK. In which case, submit evidence of that. You don't need to show proof of the full 4 years if you don't have it, but any photos together + emails will strengthen the proof of relationship.

Thank you Casa for your reply. She is here currently on a student visa and has completed her study now. Does this pose as an issue?

Well in previous posts they have said that student visas require proof that she is studying here and not decieving that she is using the student visa to gain a residence etc etc

As long as you can show the relationship is genuine and she has complied with the terms of her student visa, i.e not working in excess of the permitted 20 hours per week, then you shouldn't have a problem switching to FLR(M). That's assuming you meet all the standard requirements.

Thank you Casa, we have onky just started living together from August as she had been staying at the post grad dorms during her study. What would be helpful here to show as evidence for this kind of situation and exactly how far back should I prove that we have been together? Does chat on Skype or Kaokao Talk count or is it just photos and emails. Also with photo evidence do I need to print them all out with a time stamp or print pictures out as a per monthly basis since 2010 (when we met in India) or September 2013 (when she began her study in the UK)

Any form of communication is acceptable, ideally from the point your relationship began.
Photos don't need to be time stamped, but it would help to evidence the duration of the relationship.
Since living together do you have any proof of same address?

Yes have been getting the bills in both our names as it says we need 3 different bills that provide both out names at the same address.
