Applying British Citizenship

I am on a permanent resident visa (ILR) in UK , I have acquired permanent residency in the year 2012 and month February . I left to India on July 25th 2012 and came back to UK on 1st of July 2013 and was looking job till 29th July 2013 and left to India back and came back to UK on 24th April 2014 . I found a job in UK and currently living in UK .

I just wondered when can i apply for the British passport , can i go for a premium service.


Acquired Permanent Residency on 02/02/2012

Left to India on 25/07/2012

(25/07/2012 - 30/06/2013) I am in India

came back to UK on 01/07/2013 and lived for one month left UK on 29/07/2013 to India

(30/07/2013 to April 24th 2014 I was in India)

24th April 2014 till date in UK

According to your post you have got ILR (Indefinite Leave To Remain) visa and that visa is not equal to British Citizenship. First you need to apply for British Citizenship. Please click here for guidance and then after getting citizenship, you can apply for a passport.
