British passport application:can I use college address?

Hi all

I am applying for my british passport now (just been naturalised). I've just started a full-time education and therefore I live in College accommodation now. I am not sure how I should deal with this? Obviously I need to provide an address on the application and I can't actually provide my present college accommodation address can I?

Experts can tell you better, but if you are in college in full time education, why cant you provide college address?

Thanks for the reply. that was my understanding as well. I do not need to own or rent a house to be eligible for a british passport. But i still need to clarify before hand.

I am not sure if you can use college address but one thing I am sure about is that you definitely don't need to own or rent in order to apply for a passport. My 2 kids don't own or rent but they have passports

If you are living in a college accommodation, I don't see why you can't use accommodations address. If you use college address, then that is different because nobody lives in a college.

Yes i live in college accommodation. I agree. I do not see any logic in having trouble to obtain a passport just because i live in college accommodation. There is nothing much i can do, will have to apply and see
