Tier 2 to Spouse visa switch/ Partner's salary under £18,600

Post by Vvida » Thu Nov 27, 2014 3:47 am

I am currently on Tier 2 with a salary of over £27,000pa. Bf is on min wage so doesn't meet the £18,600 requirement for a spouse visa sponsor. If I couldn't extend my Tier 2 after next year and we were to get married, would I be able to apply for a spouse visa under these circumstances or any other type that would allow me to continue living and working in the UK?

If you switch to FLR(M) before your leave expires, then your salary may be included in Appendix FM-SE too.
