Funny reason to reject visa

Post by yazztech » Thu Dec 04, 2014 8:09 pm

Hello Gurus,

i just need your help. my wife applied for dependent visa. and sent all the documents . wedding photographs .. marriage certificates .. chat .. phone calls .. money transfer receipts .. bank statements .. but got rejected on funny basis ..
The Decision
You wish to join your spouse who holds valid leave in the UK as a Tier 1 Entrepreneur. However, you have failed to provide satisfactory evidence that you are married to a person with leave to enter the UK as a PBS Migrant. Whilst I accept you have provided a marriage certificate and some photographs, you have provided no evidence that your spouse was in Pakistan at the time of your wedding or that you have lived together as. man and wife since your marriage. I am therefore not satisfied that you are related as claimed. 319C (b)(i)(ii)
i am just bit confused .. should i re-apply or i should go for appeal . but i heard appeal will take upto 10 months or may be more.

need your suggestions. please

Appeal can get longer time but you will win.
If you reapply still no guaranteed you can satisfy home office because they dont want to give visa , very simple is that. so my suggestion is go for appeal if you got one.
Best Regards

I think you should go for administration review 1st which will take not more than a month, also include a covering letter. Have you provided tested copy of you visa and passport?

There is no Administrative Review option when there is an appeal option.

Appeal first, within the time limit. Provide additional evidence and see how it goes at the ECM review.

If you can provide evidence that you were in Pakistan at time of wedding and you have lived at same place for some time then go for fresh application otherwise go for appeal.

Yes i have ticket copy and stamps on passport so what else i can provide ? yes i can draft couple of letters from local Councillor or any government officer that yes he (ME) was there at the time of wedding to support my application . well i think stamps and tickets and boarding cards would be enough to show evidence that i was there ? and one more thing i can re-apply anytime isnt it ? for fresh application .
