post for some magic advise about Tier 1 to ILR

Post by magicboy21 » Sun Dec 07, 2014 10:05 pm

Hi Everybody,

Just been advised from one of my firned to post a topic in regards to get some magic expert opinions ...

Initial Tier 1 general granted : 30 May 2010
Dependent joined : Nov 2010
Son born in 2011 and had a visa with our extension in 2013 ... because travel to abroad.

5 years completed in May 2015

Now my question is about choosing best options from

A)if i will go alone on window/same day services for ILR and then send wife's app by post and for son strataway for british registration, also if i go on window and send wife's app by post is that gonna be any issue ?

B) send all application by post

C) all go on window services (quite expensive)

I am looking for best answer is term of the cost saving as well. Your expert opinon will be really helpful for me and for my family.

Any kind of help is appriciated in advance.

Regards

Magic Boy

(A) is fine, will not be an issue, but make sure you send wife's application within 28 days of you being granted ILR

(B) saves most money and will also be fine. obviously you cannot send all three by post at the same time, only your and your wife's application, and your child will probably fall out of status in the meantime. (you can only apply to register your child once one of you gets ILR)
but it is not important as at the moment you are granted ILR your child's registration for citizenship will be an entitlement and their immigration status will no longer matter

there is a risk in (b) though, if your ILR application runs into problems or unusual delay your child may get quite stuck -- i am not sure what if his or hers visa expiration since you havent menitoned

so on the balance of cost and efficiency your thinking is right, (a) is the best option
**Please note, you can no longer contact me by PM because owners of this board accused me of using it to recruit clients, and disabled my ability to read and send PMs.**
