Was the interview in English or Urdu?? Because on the application form it says preferred language can you speak to them in Urdu would they still possibly grant visa if this happened??

there was a translator or interpreter their. they have asked me about either english or Urdu i chose Urdu some of us are talking that we must talk in English thats wrong . if they are giving us an option then why not avail that. Once we have proved our language efficiency in relevant test ( IELTS TOIEC etc) there will be no effect on application while speaking Urdu.

Hey everyone Asalam-u-alikum!

I just got a call from Gerry's Islamabad on my land line that they have received my passport back. I am going tomorrow to pick it up. Please please pray for me that my visa is granted. Thank you.

Did not receive any emails saying if its processed or concluded or anything. the only thing my solicitor received was an email from VFS Global today with a subject "Application Recieved from the post CRM:XXXXXX" i guess that's just an automated email from Gerry's.

I have asked the ECO he said we will carry out assessment in 1 or 2 days and then you might get the decision this weekend i have done interview on monday

Today I got a response saying :
'Initial pre assessment and online verification are conducted. Application
is in Entry Clearance Officer’s queue for further assessment and
checks/enquiries'.

When can I expect further enquiries/ checks to be complete? by christmas?

Hi guys going to be applying again soon, just want to know if its necessary or in the rules that spouses passport/nic card (photocopies) have to be attested by lawyer/solicitor in Pakistan?! Because I'm sure I've read that some people got this done.
