English Language

Post by keval99 » Tue Sep 04, 2007 2:13 pm

Hi,

i am going to apply hsmp soon, my only concern is with english language proof.

I passed my B.E. from Delhi University on 2000, i worked 5 yrs in IT company and did my MSc from UK university in 2005-2006 and i am working on work permit from last 9 months.

My question:

I lost my undergrduate degree last year, although i have following documents:
1. Provisional degree
2. Consolidated Mark sheet ( one sheet; showing everything and percantage)
3. Letter from Delhi University ( stating i did my graduation in English from 1996 to 2000...this i required at a time of MSc admission)

Please advise me that instead of using original degree, can i used 1,2,3 documents mention in the above list.

regards

Letter from university is normally for those who are recent graduates and awating their degree.

But U need to try it to see the result. I have read a person got approveld and not submitting their degree certificate in this forum. I do not know where they are graduating from. But certainly here the university who issue the letter is also matter.

You can apply for Exceptional consideration and submit a letter from the university you attended and a copy of your academic transcript. You will have to explain convincingly why you should given exception consideration though.

I got a sample of the letter from www.hsmpexperts.co.uk and i think its good though am still waiting for the outcome of my application

As I mentioned before letter from university id normally for those who are recent graduate. So, U are right that U need a strong reason why U could not submit your original degree certificate.

The point here I think to make them convince and to differentiate between those who deliberately avoid to submit their original degree certificate for illegitimate reason and those who are genuine.
