Travelling with EEA4 visa

Post by jaweb » Sat Jan 03, 2015 10:40 am

Dear All,

My husband is from a non-EU country. I am from EU country and just got my approval for the British Citizenship. He holds the EEA4 10 year old visa since December 2013. He is just about to apply for BC too.

Before applying we would like to travel to Paris for a weekend. I would like to ask whether he needs Schengen visa. Right now nthing is written on his visa. Nothing says he is a family member of EU citizen. So I assume he would need it.

Has any of you travelled with this kind of visa? Does he need visa to go there?

Thanks you for your answer
