Child is British if Born in UK to a parent holding ILR or British Nationality but that obviously won't be the case for OP.fwd079 wrote:1. AN1 as per ILR rules since you have ILR but not the spouse of British girlfriend any more, so five years stay condition applies.
2. If kids are born in UK before you are British citizen, they will be entitled to be British by birth and will have to apply on MN1 form for them, if they are born after you become British then they are British by birth regardless of their place of birth. If they are born outside UK before you are British then they have to apply for UK dependant visa.

No worries pal. HO hasn't made anything simple so no single person understands the whole thingfwd079 wrote:Of course!akhurshid wrote: Child is British if Born in UK to a parent holding ILR or British Nationality but that obviously won't be the case for OP.
Sorry, I stand corrected. Thanks akhurshid.
You can't apply for ILR directly. You'll need to get dependant visa for your child, bring the child in UK and then you can apply for ILR registration as last step of becoming British.Obaido wrote:Thank you so much .. So I can apply on 1/7/15 .. At that date it will be 5 years exactly from my entry .. Unfortunately the kids will born outsid UK ( in dubai ) is the mean they don't get ILR directly ? And do I have to apply to them same time I apply for my natrualisation ?
Thank for u time and replay
Normally there isn't residential required.Obaido wrote:Sorry for disturbing you again, is that mean my kids need to live in UK for 5 years to get the britishcitizanship ?
You dont need to send marriage certificate if you are not applying on the basis of British spouse route.Obaido wrote:Hi ,, no iam applying 5 years route, and iam not married to BC and my wife don't live in UK ..
