Plz help me in review,

Post by sham111 » Thu Sep 13, 2007 11:55 am

Today i got a refusal letter from HO. Without my original documents shocking.

Well please guide me in the review they have not awarded me any point for prevoius earning.

I was studing my Msc in germany from August 2003 to February 2006.

Came to UK on Working Holiday Maker while studying in Germany , I came to Uk after registering Master Thesis in Germany and joined a part time course in June 2004 as per the working Holiday Guidelines.
Period of Study June 2004 to March 2006.

After that i became full time student from May 2006 to May 2007.

Now HO awarded 30 point for Master.
And they have awarded any point for for previous earning in India from 2002 t0 2003.
They told me that i was studying part time from June 2004 to March 2006 so they can't consider earning prior to that.

Please help them so that i can put across this point to them.

So let me know the format of covering letter for review.

Please Please do reply as soon as possible because i want to send the review ASAP.

Thanks a million

They never send the original documents with the first refusal, as they expect reviews to be launched.

I am not sure you can succeed in this, as they will only defer the year that you are claining for when you have been studying full time. So, in your case, you would only be considered for earnings from May '05 to May '06.

I agree to your point but the i was studying MSc during 2005 and 2006. For which they have not considered.

I was full time student in Germany from August 2003 to Feb 2006 in UK i came on working Holiday as per there guidelines of WHM i can only study part time meanwhile i was preparing my Master Thesis from my German MSc Degree in UK i was sucessfully awarded MSc in February 2006.

I claimed points for MSc 35 but HO awarded 30 as they have only considered my bachelors.

I remember once seeing that they awarded points for 2 master degrees but that went the way of the dinosaur so you only get credit for reaching the masters level

They only ever issued points for the hhighes qualifications. YOu could have 10 Masters degrees, and you would only ever have got points for one.

I am not sure your review will make any difference... The rules are clear, the will allow you claim earnings within the 15 month window before becoming a ''fulltime'' student.. You became a fulltime student between May 06 - May 07, hence you will be allowed to claim earnings 15 months before May 06 ie March 2005 - May 2006...

Sham 111,

Please, confirm if you were actively employed between August 2003 - July 2003 in your residing country as at this date. Did you provide employer letter on company letter headed, payslips and bank statements as corroborating evidence and explained this on your cover letter. If you did this with your initial application,I advise that you go for a review explaining in clear and concise terms all your evidences. Did you include any of your masters degree certificate as at the time you applied? Also, explain all your periods of studies and expantiate clearly how relevant all the courses you did at masters degree to substantiate your case. I know that sometimes CW assumes that your evidences do not corroborate if you dont explain in simple and clear terms.remember they have a lot of applications to treat and as such CW will not have the time to think for you when you dont explain these evidences in simple manner. So, I advise that if all these evidences I have mentioned above are included in your initial application, you can go for review stating every evidence and using some of the statements in the Guidance note to back your points. Did you include ant tax return/clearance doc? You must also consider the varying periods that you were employed and tell them if there are tax variations in your country. I hope this helps.

If you dont try,you dont get. Keep it simple and coincise.I wish you the best of luck.
