I would appriciate if you could answer me as iam confused with home office decision. thanks

Hi there. I applied for FLR(o) on medical ground. I got refused, then I made an appeal. I lost my appeal and then went for request for Upper Tribunal. I was refused for that. Then I chose not to overstay and returned home voluntarily on my own expenses and before the 28 days deadline. My question is when am I eligible to apply again for another visa, and what can my immigration history have on my application? Thank you very much for any valuable reply

I applied under the parent rule and my BRP only says leave to remain as well. Unless you didn't qualify under the partner route hence you got granted on the family route

Hi all
I have been a silent member on this topic. Would love to know gurus views and suggestion as this is my partner case.

He entered UK in August 2001 through agent and since then illegal immigrant. We got religiously married in jan 2010 and now we have a child who is 1.5 year old and I m currently on entrepreneurship visa since may 2014 and entered UK in dec 2009 on student visa.

We filed his first individual application in March 2010 but you know the solicitors who works for money mess. Anyways he got rejection and then JR and reject so that solicitor bought time till December 2013.

We went to another solicitor who again filed FLR (fp) in jan 2014 on private life basis but that time I was on PSW which was valid till July 2014. And we did add our child certificate as well.

My partner started his own venture in July 2011 and he is a taxpayer, he has driving licence and enough proofs. But none of the solicitor add his business papers. And we again got the rejection because my visa status wasn't permanent but still we sent PAP which is a part of JR but nothing happened neither we filed JR.

But finally in May 2014 I got entrepreneurship visa valid till may 2017.

We again filed the fresh application in November 2014 with another 3rd solicitor and this time we put all the papers including our relationship and business as well. Did give the biometrics on 2nd Jan 2014 and since then waiting.....

My partner running his business with a turnover of 1-1.5 k. So, what are the chances now?? Please advice.

As from what you have written, it seems your partner only got one basis on private life category-(18 or over and you’ve spent less than 20 years in the UK, but you’d find it hard to live in another country, eg because you have no friends or relationships there ) But it is extremely hard to satisfy this test. And i doubt your partner's business will even help because it is against law to work or to start business without valid leave. Actually i am concerned that your next extension because you are aiding your partner on his business knowing he is not entitle to do so. I did not mean to scare you , just letting you know other side's view. i wish you best of luck :D

Hi there.

I was hopeing some one could point to the right direction.

I came to UK in 2002 as minor applied for asylum and was granted discretionary leave to remain up until i turn 18.
Prior to expiry i applied for extension, however that got refused.
Since then i continued my stay without a visa.
In 2010 HO wrote to me asking me to send them some pictures and that my application was being considered under legacy majugaly.
After major delay from that god forsaken place i finally received my DLR 3 YR stay in 2012 may.
It's that time again :( dealing with HO as i need to extended the visa for further 3 YRs.

Question is DO i need to Apply for extension under FLR(O) or DL form?

From reading FLRO it seems to me that i technically do not qualify under it, but more under DL. DL is Free! FLRO is jaw dropping 600 earth pounds, What a great business!!!HO bravo .
They gave me first 3 years for free, so does not make sense that i should pay for extension? Besides it should have been ILR like first 600,000 Legacy applicants, until they change it to 3 yr DL.
What do you think friends?

Hi

What I have understood from your post, your 3 yr DLR 2012 is going to expire May 2015. You got DLR extension twice (3+3) 6 yrs total. What ever delay make HO to grant you VISA, I think your are now entitle for ILR from May 2015.

I wish your good luck.

Shareen

Hi Shareen, many thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately this is my first extension not second. I received my first 3 Year DLR in 2012 May. I am going to apply for second 3yr in may 2015

I am guessing what must have got you confused is my DLR up until i become 18 as i was a minor.

many thanks

What is the difference between the family life as a parent 10 year route, as a partner 10 year route or private life 10 year route or do they all have the same outcome on flr fp thank you
