they said if I decide to apply at some stage, I will start the process from scratch (them just saying we will make sure you never get the citz!).. not bothered now and happy to see my US application going very smoothly with zero effort from my side. I bet I will get it way before my pals applications in ireland!!

Approvals get sent usually the week after ceremony - there is some strange thing that since nov they sent approvals a week before the ceremony which is not the usual..

Emmanuel - I strongly feel that your approval will be around 29th of Jan if it happens to be this way, then you owe me a big pint in summer when Im in ireland for holidays

I receive letter dated 02/01/15 saying they've started further processing my application.
Last week I requested update on approx time-frame and today they replied back that they are awaiting Garda report. Would anyone here know how long does it take for Garda to send this report and DoJ to send approval after receiving the same report ?

Would it speed things up if I contact my local Garda station and ask them to give me a report/letter addressed to INIS ?

Hoping to be one among March 2015 ceremony

@ banana: you are in spirit. The lady told me I should get letter from them next week, so I said ok.. u remember they wrote to my solicitor last 2 weeks after receiving my social welfare receipt, they said they dint need anymore docs. Now she said to me on phone next week am getting letter. Anyways hopefully God help us for the best.

a friend (excoworker) of mine got an approval yesterday - she applied on mid of sep.. shes flying all over the place now..

Called INIS this morning and was told your application is in the very final stage with the minister for decision could be week, 2 weeks, month or more
applied March 20104, 3 traffic offences in the last 15 years turning my application to a nightmare. looooooooool

I was at the 100th ceremony as one of the newest Irish citizen but to be honest with you there was no single minute to ask any question as regard to when the next ceremony could be. It was a glorious event and very special feeling. All the best guys.

Rang them early this morning, said my application has not been submitted to the Minster yet(for the past month they been saying it has gone to the minister for decision)And the are processing it and someone is working on my application, Wonder what are they working on???? very confused.dont know what to do?

No she Said the file is been prepared ready to go... See what I think is that, my approval letter must be ready with them, but they are just holding it for no reason. Because a different lady told me last week that I should get a letter from then these week.

Rang this morning, my application is with the minister for a decision, Are you waiting for any papers from anywhere ! , no it is with the minister for a decision , yes but it's there for quiet long now, well .... it's with the minister for a decision , ok ... I understand but people applied in June and July are getting their approvals these days i applied last March and nearly a year now ..... yeah but your application with the minister for a decision could take days, weeks or more. @darr81. She said they 've putting all my documents togrther,so ready to go the minister,that I should hear from them very soon. But last week, another lady told me that I will get a letter these week.... So it seems to me like they already have my approval letter,but they haven't sent it out. Don't know just guessing.
