This is the main reason always recommended apply "Document Certifying Permanent Residence Card" first. It cost only £55 and if it refused, u will lose only £55 not £906, and u will know where is weakness in ur case.fin77 wrote:Hi, I have just received documents from home office about my application for naturalisation as a British citizen.
The application has been refused.
I have started to work in the uk in Company 1 from 16/07/2007.
Within a month from the date that I started to work I sent application for registration in WRS to Home office.
I received 2 documents both with issue date 25 september 2007 (1st was assession state worker registration scheme - Registration Card, 2nd was Registration Certificate for Company 1 showing job start date).
Unfortunately I terminated my employment with company 1 at end of March 2008 and started to work from 4th of August 2008 for Company 2.
The Company 2 asked for documents showing that I am registered in WRS and they took copies of my registration card and registration certificate.
I sent letter to Home office that I have change my work but have not received any paper or certificate from them.
Unfortunately i left that case and come back to it on march 2011 when I have tried to get a residency card.
The home office has written to me that they have records that i terminated my work in company 1 before the first 12 months and i they refuse my application.
After the refusal I sent to home office a letter and get the WRS certificate for Company 1 with job start date 04 Aug 2008 and issued date 31 March 2011.
I applied again for the residency and sent the certificate that I get from Home office.
I received the Blue residency Card later on with issue date 12 May 2011.
I decided last year to apply for naturalisation as a British Citizen.
I filled in application and sent it with all papers (payslips, sertificates and WRS reg cards and other relevant documents - passed Life in the Uk test and B1.1 CEFR english certificate).
Unfortunately my application which I have sent on 28 August 2014 has been refused.
I have been working with Company 2 non stop from 04/08/2008 as an employee.
I have copied below why my application has been refused :
" You registered your employment with Company 1 on the Workers Registration Scheme on 25 Sept 2007. You then terminated this employment prior to the required 12 month threshold and began working for Company 2 on 04 Aug 2008. However you did not register on the Workers Registration Scheme until 31 March 2011. To be classed as Permanently Resident the first year of the five years must be registered with the Workers Registration Scheme. The earliest date you can be classed as Permanently Resident is 31 March 2016.
Your application for British Citizenship was received on 28 Aug 2014. On that date you were not Permanently Resident as you had not been exercising your treaty rights in accordance with the European Regulations for a continous period of 5 years so you do not meet the requirement which are set out on our website at http://www.gov.uk/becoming-a-british-citizen and your application has been refused. "
I know that i can request to reconsider a decision to refuse.
Do I have any chances on which my request can provide to successfuly approved application ?
hi fin77 , sorry to hear that , can u tell us when u sent your reconsideration and how long is took the home office to come back to you ? thanks ( i'm waiting for the reconsideration as well )fin77 wrote:Hi
My request for reconsideration of the application has been rejected on the same foundations.
Basically if you have not informed WRS that you have changed the emloyer within 12months, your application will be rejected.
Let say if there will be a situation like this :
You sent the information about the change of the employer to the Home Office.
The papers has been lost.
You have not received the certificate, because your address has been changed (move in).
You forgot about the situation, until 2010year.
All That is really unfair.
Any particular reason why you are simply quoting the OPs question/post and not offering a response or advice?foufou wrote:fin77 wrote:Hi

Public information was available about WRS whilst scheme was still running.fin77 wrote:Hi
