About the CAT A Requirements

Post by kimak » Tue Feb 03, 2015 12:57 am

Hello

If the sponsor is employed by the same employer for six months or more earning £1600 gross per month, and the nature of her job allows her to travel freely, can this be raised as an objection if she is in Pakistan for 2-3 months while my application is being processed? OR does she has to be in the UK?

Thanks

The rule says you must be in employment as at the time of your application and present a bank statements with payslips to show that.
So as long as you believe you're in employment, you can present all required evidence and right taxes have been paid. If she's away while an application is going on and h.o calls the employer, provided the employer says she's still working with them, the application will be refused I'm afraid.

if the employer confirms that she is still working with them is on authorised paid or unpaid leave, it should not affect the HO decision. however it is advised that its better the sponsor be present in UK during processing time.

If she plans to take paid leave, would it be better to submit the letter from employer with the application? and if she is on paid maternity leave, would that suffice

Whatever leave she is on needs to be stated in the employment letter.
