Tier 1 G Ext > ILR : Dependent can apply ILR or NOT?

Post by murtaza4m » Wed Feb 04, 2015 5:41 pm

Hi Guys,

I am on Tier 1 General Extension and my initial application was made before 4the April 2010.

Iapplied for my wife visa on 10 July 2012 and she came to UK on 2nd September 2012 as my dependent.

Now I am going to apply for ILR in 3rd week of April.

Is it possible that her wife can apply for ILR at the same time?

Please advise.

Thanks

(some people says YES she can and some saying NO, timeline is grey area here as rule were changed around that time)

Unfortunately, she had applied too late, after the rules changed. She requires 5 years' residence as a PBS dependant before qualifying for ILR.
