Application Referees

Hi,

I have got two referees for my application form. One is a professional who is my sibling's friend and the other referee is my friend but not a professional. I wanted to know what they need to write on the form?

Is it ok if they write that they are my friends?

They need to write something like "I know so-and-so as xyz for past N years (more than three)" One has to provide British passport number.

So just to clarify, the referees can be your friends, as long as one is a professional and one a British citizen?

Who else is willing to give their passport information other than your friend?

Just folks in relationship with you or with each other, cannot be referee.
