The AN form itself

Post by hamziyan88 » Sun Feb 08, 2015 7:03 pm

Hi,

Is it likely that the AN form will change before July 2015 as the exisiting AN form is June 2014...?
Does it change every year?

Only time will tell. It can change or it may not. It may only change if HO brings new changes to the rules.

I've been told that for Naturalisation, you won't have to use the new form. Note, I have been unable to find a statement on UKBA that says to use the current form "for applications after June 2014". On my thread, someone has also commented that you don't even need a form for British Citizenship applications; so I presume this means by law they have to honour other means of applications even if one were to write a long letter with all the necessary details.

I could be wrong, but if they have all the necessary details then they can' fault you for using the 'wrong form'. This is very different from Tier 1 and ILR as those are visa applications.
