T1 entrepreneur visa needed materials and so

Post by applicant999999 » Fri Feb 06, 2015 2:29 pm

hi everyone,

please give me advices on my situation applying for T1 entrepreneur visa and help me out. Me and my friend are applying as a team for 20k pounds T1 visa. but my dad is going to send me the 20k money abroad for both of us. saw some posts in this forum that source of funds is needed to provide to the interviewer or submit with other materials to Home Office. its like I could print out the bank statement showing its my dad sent the money from his account, and if he provides me a letter showing that no need to return back; then im okay with the money. but how can this work with my friend as well as home office will accept??

Please do tell me about what else id better to obtain so that can speed the visa processing and get the visa successfully. My lawyer is working on my business plan. and im contacting factory where i need my products done there to offer me a letter that they wanna be my supplier. and im also contacting the logistics companies, then im able to gather the emails we sent to each other in order to show the home office im working on it and im trying to do real and serious business in the UK.

except from qualifications, bank statement of 20k funds, maintenance, any other documents id better to submit in the case of getting a T1 entrepreneur visa?? thanks for this great forum, anyone helps??

First of all it's either 200k or 50k pounds but not 20k.

As you already know, your father needs to give you a support letter but it should also include his acknowledgement that he recognises you have formed an entrepreneurial team with your friend (should show his name) and that he fully trusts your abilities, decision making and fully supports your efforts regarding the same.

Also, you better open a joint account with your friend for the 200k funds.

Hi there,
I meant 200k instead of 20k. For the information you provided, i have another question though its a brilliant idea. Me and my friend is on general visiting visa in uk. It seems impossible to open a joint account using our current visa. How could that be solved? Any idea. Thanks

Visiting the UK on general visitor visa and then using your "General" visit experience eventually to apply for the Ent visa is a disaster! If you don't want to use your general visit in any way for the Ent visa then it's OK. Usually people do this mistake, they go on the general visit visa and do some research on businesses/market conditions in the UK. Then they use this reference during the interview for the Ent visa. You are not supposed to carry on any kind of "business" activities or enquiries "officially" on a general visit visa. So, your Ent visa has every possibility to be outright rejected because you misused your general visitor visa for business purposes. You should be damn lucky for that not to happen or for the case worker to ignore such incidents.

The alternative is business visit visa (recommended) or Prospective Entrepreneur visa (not usually recommended). It's not very difficult to get an invitation for the business visit visa. There are UK gov agencies in every major city around the world, you can contact them and express your business interest, they will arrange an invitation letter for you. I got a similar invitation letter from a UK gov agency, but I haven't used it yet though for the visit visa. Once you travel on a business visit visa, this will definitely add weightage to your Ent visa later.

However, I am not sure if you can open a bank account on business visit visa. But, some international banks open out of country bank accounts for particular high net worth accounts/individuals. I personally did this before, opened accounts in two different countries while residing in another country. They will still use your original country address only. Not sure if they can do this for UK.
