Eligibility for BC

Hi All

I have a confusion which i would like to get answered and put my mind to rest.

I got my work permit from my company in 2008. My wife and children joined me in Sep 2010 and have been with me ever since. Me and my family applied for ILR in May 2013 and were successful. I applied for BC in Jul 2014 and got it in Oct 2014 and got my passport in Nov 2014. Now I am a British Citizen. I applied for my children BC (they were born abroad) and still waiting for the outcome.

I am now preparing for my wife BC application and want to confirm if she is eligible to apply. I am seeing quite a lot of comments on the eligibility criteria of 5 years on forums and just want to make sure that she is eligible to apply.

5 year rule doesn't apply to your wife. She can apply now as spouse of british citizen.
