What is your nationality?

I assume you mean she is on a spouse visa. If so, please provide the following :

Date she applied for visa?

Valid from and expiry dates of visa?

Date of entry to UK?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

Seems to me, although i stand to be corrected, that this may be the Pre-9thJuly 2012 cases, therefore she may need a further extension until she reaches 5 years.

Thanks for trying to help, I was given such bad advice by my solicitor that I sacked her and it was a miracle that I even got the visa for my partner. I now find myself in a minefield of changing rules.

I am british, she is brazilian, we have 2 british kids and lived in brazil 3 years, coming back to UK in 2013.
She entered the UK on 22nd october 2013 with a settlement visa, the visa has a valid date until 16/07/2016 when it must be reviewed.
Since then I have read the rules changed and it must be renewed after 2 years, so that would mean I have to apply early september this year ? Or do i still go by the date on the visa for renewal ?

I got by the income requirement only by selling my house to put £62.5k money in the bank , and my income still does not come up to scratch as I have had to start from nothing as self employed.
I believe I must extend then after 5 years apply for right to stay.

If I must renew this september, its so much paperwork I need to know in advance and plan for it.

thanks in advance for your help guys !

You must renew by the 18th June 2016 at the Earliest.
