Yes the only reason is English language requirement I'm really disappointed this was my second application n I was very hopeful Bt they end up rejected it with really inappropriate reason.

hello tabz which uni is your master degree from?they don't accept all the uni's.i have a business administration degree but i did the stupid test anyway just to be on the safe side

I am inshallah applying for my wife in the first week of march. I have a question.

In whatsapp screenshots, did you make the mobile number visible ? or is it fine with the name on ?

Salaam - I included whatsapp and vyber screenshots - I had to cover a period of about 7 months (applied 7months after we got married). What I did was deleted my husbands contact from my phone and then screenshot the convos - this then should just his number at the top. and same happened when I screenshot Vyber logs.

With whatsapp what I did was as I scrolled through our chat, if you do it slowly you will see the date for that day come up, just screenshot that too (you have to be quick!). I included about 1 screenshot for every 5-8 days over a 7 month period.

Hi I received text from gerrys in morning to collect my passport n they outcome is dt they refused my visa because they don't think I'm exempt of English language.
I'm post graduate n according to their own law I was exempt of it Bt don't know why they refused me. No email from thm no call only text came.

But what made you think that you're exempt? As far as I am aware, Only Government, ambassadors etc are exempt. No one else, not even degree holders.

In my point of view u should do ilets. Appeal can take more time.

That may just be a random reply - escalate it and hopefully you'll get an actual response ... (going by previous posts of where people have done this)

Don't believe in the reply from the escalation !!!

I got them to escalate on Friday, and today I received a reply stating the same thing as previous replies, that its still in the queue for ECO to do further checks & enquiries.

NOW ... how can that be possible if my hubby went and picked up his visa yesterday.

my example is probably one of the bad ones where they have taken as much time as they possibly can at each stage.
Inshallah I pray that nobody goes through this much of a wait. I think they do things slighty quicker these days.

InshAllah we will get our visa soon. Ive applied 3times and my case keeps getting rejected. So I thought no matter how long it takes I rather put in an appeal because every time I put a case in its rejected and when I tackle the reason for rejection they find another reason to reject it.

Im going to fight for it this time its human error from accountant im still earning 18600 been working for 3years.

just pray and leave it to Allah, he knows the best

I see hope had the same processed email this week and got the visa as well. This if you only get 1 processed email then this does not necessarily mean a rejection. That’s 2 of us this week that have had one processed email and been issued with our Visa’s.

Thats correct ! Now theory has changed if u receive call from gerrys no emails sent then its a refusal. Recently i heard two cases one from this forum and one i knw from facebook it was islamabad case applied on 1 nov 2014. They both got calls from gerrys no emails and they both got refusal. With one email hope786 and salma recently got their visa. I also got a one email and today call from gerrys for collection. i ll go on monday
Hope it will ll be good news for me and all Waiting one's.

Been a silent reader here. Just to reassure people who have received just one email, we got the visa after getting just one email from Islamvisainfo which says application has been processed. There's no pattern to the emails received and the outcome of the application.
