ILR FOR KIDS BORN IN U.K

Post by REQUEST1 » Tue Mar 03, 2015 8:46 pm

HI ALL,
Iam applying for ilr as a dependent in 2 weeks time.i have booked and paid the fees for my son as well.but i realised we dont have any travel plans after the ILR.I came to know once the parents get the ILR, U.K born kids are eligible to apply for naturalization.i realised too late after paying the VISA FEES.1493 GBP per each applicant. iam confused now.if i want to cancell the appointment ,i have to cancell all the 3 appointments. my question is ...if only parents attend the visa appointment and not to include my uk born child though appointmnet booked.but skip his appointment.will i able to get the refund for my sons visa fees apart from 100 GBP appointment fees... KINDlY share your experience or kindly let me know what to do.
many thanks,
RJ

You could do that. When you go there inform them that you do not wish to proceed , in regards to your son.
