Has been long time since last time I´ve post.
My wife has now an EEA Family member visa for a couple of years and she wants to invite her parents for a week.
Looking at the website they require her to be "settled in the uk". Does have the EEA family visa is considered as settled/permament settled?
Bear in mind the fact that she doesnt have the leave to remain..
Thanks in advance.
P.D. Feel free to move it to other section if is not correct.
Have you/has your wife been in the UK for 5 years or longer?
If not, have them apply for general visit visa.
I recently invited my parents-in-law and sent the following:
- certified copy of my EU passport
- certified copy of my tenancy agreement
- original no objection letter from my landlord
- proof of address (letter from council/utility bill/NHS letter, etc.)
- letter of invitation stating what I am doing in the UK (my job with company XYZ), why I am inviting my parents-in-law and for how long and that I have ample space to accommodate them.
If you are sponsoring their visit financially, you will also need to add six months payslips and bank statements showing enough money to cover their expenses.
