Please see my application time line below. Thought I should share with you. Praise be to God the Almighty.
I still cannot believe it took less that 3 weeks from application to receipt of approval letter. Best of luck for those waiting and caught up in last year's chaos.

Eligibility Criteria: 10 Yrs Long Residency + EEA Family Member + 1 Yr ILR
Current Nationality: Ivorian
Language Criteria: Life in the UK & UK Masters Degree
Method of Application: Postal (Royal Mail Special delivery)
Date of Application: 02-03-15
Date of Receipt by UKVI: 03-03-15
Method of Payment: CC
Date of Fee Clearance: 07-03/2015 (debited on 7-3-15 but showing on statement as 9-3-15)
Date of Acknowledgement: 09-03-15 (email) then letter received on 13-03-15 (dated 7-3-15)
Date of Approval: 16-03-15 (letter received today (18-3-15) along with supporting documents by RM Special Delivery - provided by self)
Date of Ceremony: Awaiting

My money got deducted on the 11/03/15 and I've not yet received any kind of acknowledgement. Have everyone else received theirs yet

My money was deducted on 08-Mar and balance dropped on 09-Mar. I still haven't received any ack yet. I was told by the HO to wait for atleast 2 weeks after the money deducted date and if I don't receive it, then to call them. So please don't worry. It will be alright and good luck!

Negative, that said its only been 15 days since HO got the application and 10 calendar days since they took payment. I guess its with scanning dept at the moment lol

Nothing here apart from receiving an Ack letter this morning dated 12 March 2015, which is nothing really because they already sent me an Email on that date.
I wish I enclosed a RM Special Delivery Envelope with my application for a fast return of my application!

Does that actually make a difference to how fast you get your application back? I did include it but more because of the tracking than anything else.

It all depends on how fast they complete processing your application. say if you and me got a decision on the same day/week, yours would normally reach through your letter box quicker because HO use second class recorded don't they?.
