Applying for Settlement Visa from EU

Hi,

I want to apply for a Settlement Visa for being married to a UK national. Should I apply from an EU country or the country I am from? Will applying from an EU country speed up the process?

You can only submit your application in a country where you are legally resident. Applying in a EU state won't speed up the application. Where is your spouse currently living?

My spouse is from the UK. However, I work for the Finnish government, so I was wondering if I applied as a legal resident of the EU, whether it would speed up my application by any chance? Because I thought it's easier to apply from within the EU where there are fewer applications than from India?

You can apply from Finland and you may well find it's processed quicker than one submitted in India.
