Max time to enter in the country if got visa

Need to know what is the maximum time to enter in the country on dependent visa. Wife got dependent visa in Jan 2015 but she can’t travel till Aug. Will this be ok?

i think, it should be alright. only criteria was, while entering uk she should have a valid visa.
