Naturalisation English Language Requirement Help Pls

Hi there,

I am in process of applying for my naturalisation. I have Post-grad diploma in software engineering (UK) and Bachelors in Computer Engg (India). The problem I m facing is I haven't got my bachelors degree on me to be verified by Naric and when i called the home office they said the post graduate diploma wouldn't be sufficient and I need to take a B1 test. After reading a few post on this forum I am bit confused and would be really grateful if anybody would throw some light on what should I do.

Personally I think B1 test is the easiest, and worth the small fee it has, to save the hassle of all International Degree wrangling.

But some of the posts here tell that the postgrad diploma is accepted

I don't think so, but please go through this page and also go through the links therein, take a look if your qualification is listed.

I asked my university for the equivalent to fill in the pbs calculator and I was provided with the following link

If you see the first link post graduated diploma comes to NVQ level 5 and if you add it to the pbs calculator u get the 10 points

So I think it's ok

Any suggestions
