Post man has been and no Ceremony Letter's for us yet.

Been 1 Week and 1 Day.

Still within the 2 Week Time Frame so continuing to be patient

Still waiting for my invitation to a ceremony letter too, nothing in the post today.

I'd give your local Council Registrar a call.

I called mine yesterday and confused her entirely, she has my paperwork but can't help me until I get the letter... which I am figuring myself comes from Home Office.

Language criteria met: ESOL Skills for Life Speaking & Listening, Life in the UK
Current nationality: Russian
Method of application: NCS
Council name if NCS used: Oxford
Date of application: Tue 17th March 2015
Payment method: Debit Card
Date of receipt by UKBA: Wed 18th March 2015
Date of acknowledgment:
Date of debit or clearance of fees: - it's been 9 days and my account balance has not changed!
Date approval received:
Date of ceremony:

Has anyone else been waiting for so long for the application fee to be charged?

Hi I applied on 17th of march and still no news we r in same boat let me no if u get any news and iwill do the same .I hope will get some news soon

FYI: Interesting, from home office and not council, perhaps it has changed and some councils are on old rules and some on new..

I have contacted my council about it and am just awaiting a call back

Page 26 of the AN Guide

If your application is successful and you are living in the UK, you will be invited to
attend a citizenship ceremony. You will receive an invitation letter from the Home
Office and this will confirm the local authority you should contact to arrange your
ceremony. We expect you to arrange to attend a ceremony within 3 months of
receiving your invitation otherwise it will expire and you will have to reapply for
naturalisation and pay a further processing fee.

Your letter of approval will have a number to call for your ceremony I was told. Call that number and then you are able to book it.

Mine also has no phone numbers on it. I ended up calling a UKBA phone number another friend gave me and they didn't have a clue.

It seems your approval and invitation came as one. I just received Approval and it says Invitation to follow. Very strange that it is different but maybe it depends on the councils like some may be digitally connected etc.

Time will tell, What is nice that all this info will help others going forward.

Yeah. That may be the reason...different local authority etc.

My approval came the day after my approval came (approval came March 23, ceremony invitation came March 24th) for May 6th. I called to enquire about a private ceremony and someone happened to have cancelled their place in a group ceremony for the following day. Pure luck that I got it.

I'll attach a pic of that in a minute.
