Stamp 4

Post by kawasaki7 » Wed Apr 01, 2015 9:55 am

Hello,

I am trying to work out how I can get my Non-EEA spouse into Ireland with the right to live and work. From what I can gather, she will need to get permission to reside in the state when she arrives here in Ireland.

However, my issue is that in section 17.2 of "Policy Document on Non-EEA Family Reunification" it states that mI (as the Irish sponsers) needs to have earned at least €40k in the last three years. Now, I have not earned this much as I am a full time student and work part time.

Is there any way around this rule? It will take me another few years to build up €40k on my p60s so that is quite a depressing thought :( I do see that there is a lot of talk about a "EU1 form" on this forum. Is that the way around it? I should also note that I am a full Irish citizen.

So I suppose my question is that is there any way to get my spouse to live and work in Ireland even though I don't have €40k on my p60s?

Thanks for any help ye can give!

You would be eligible to apply on EU1 form only if you lived and worked as an irish National in another member State of the EU.

Regarding your current situation, your spouse can apply for permssion once they arrive in the State:
