Hello,
I hold Tier 1 (general) visa, my Initial visa validity was from 18 May 2010 to 18 May 2013, but I entered to UK on 28 May 2010 and I had my first visa extension validity from 13 May 2013 to 13 May 2015. While calculation 5 years continuous period in UK. I realised that 6 days less to complete 5 years (total I have now is 4 years, 11 months, 25 days).
Assuming that I make my ILR application on 13 May 2015
13 may 2015 to 12 May 2014
13 may 2014 to 12 May 2013
13 may 2013 to 12 May 2012
13 may 2012 to 12 May 2011
13 may 2011 to 12 May 2010 => where my initial visa starts from 18 May 2010!
Could you please suggest is this dates are acceptable as per UKBA regulations and Law to prove 5 years of continuation stay in UK
OR should I apply my ILR after visa expiry i.e., 18 May 2015 to meet the 5 years continuation
OR should I go back to UKBA to change the date of validity to 18 May 2015
OR Should I apply for Extension prior to my ILR application to fill the gap or 6 days
I really appreciate your genuine advice.
Many thanks in advance.
