Naturalisation Fee Increase and Biometric Pls Help

Hello Guys

I posted my Application on Saturday 4th April 2015, just looked at the Royal Mail tracking and it was delivered today 7th April 2015 as yesterday was a Bank Holiday.
Been a very active internet user and researcher, i have just come across rule changes from the 6th April 2015 which includes £99 extra for fees and Biometric requirements.

My question is will these changes affect my application or increase the turn around time. I was completed unaware of these new changes (which surprised me as i do look at citizenship info/reviews a lot).

Any feedback would be appreciated.

They will most likely just ask for the difference of £99 if you have already used the new form. If you haven't then most likely your application would just come back and you will have to send it again with new fee and form.

The proposed fee changes were actually published a couple of months in advance & confirmed towards the end of March. As your application reached the HO on the 7th, the most likely outcome is that you will be asked to complete the new AN form (as it changed to include biometric details) & payment form. As far as processing times go, my guess is that it will increase with the introduction of biometric capture, however there is nothing officially published by the HO to confirm this. It's a matter of watch this space.

Yeah i did use the Old form as i printed in February and have slowly been getting the required information. I'll just wait an see what they say.
