Premium Service and IHS

Post by MilleniumDK » Wed Apr 15, 2015 11:24 am

2 quick questions

I want to book a premium service for and FLR(M) visa for my wife, she is here on a fiance visa which has 2 months remaining

So how do I go about it, do I just book and appointment here

https://apply.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/iapply.portal

Then print the form off and fill it in to bring it down, or do I have to do an online form as well like the postal application.

Also with the IHS, do I have to do that aswell before hand, with the fiance to a spouse visa I believe it will be, at first, a 2 year (as oppose to a 2.5 year visa for a normal FLR(M)).

Thanks

Denver

1. Yes book appointment and pay the full fees

2. Print form and complete.

3. Yes you have to pay surcharge. Flr(M) will be for 2.5 years. Surcharge payable is £200 × 2.5 = £500, payable upfront at tkme of application.

hi , i had applied for a fiance visa online and paid the health surcharge . Do i needed to pay for health surcharge for that visa? However, i have submitted the application and online i could not find fiance visa choice on the application. it was settlement, settlement, and then marriage or unmarried partner, or civil partnership or spouse .... etc. but no where i could read Fiance . so i applied for marriage . i hope this is alright. and i paid all the fees (visa and health surcharge ). i wonder if it will be ok as we are applying for to get married there and settle there and we have not been living together before. THe form itself its the same form application than of a spouse visa so i dont think this wud be an issue and on the letters and documents it is stated that we want to get married there and be together in uk.
thank you.
