Jobs in November?

I have got my EC this month, but right now I cannot come to the UK till November. I am just wondering whether or not November is the right month to look for an IT related job. With the holiday season just around the corner would it be a wise decision to go to UK and look for a job?

Or should I wait till January?

Go on in November and start searching.
Holiday season fever? - yes, starts in December all right, but you can have interviews scheduled post December.
Meanwhile, some odd vacancies arise in the holiday season - so you can work odd meanwhile.

I am also in the same confusion as you are in. Nov - Jan confusion.
So what have you decided and which field are you from, If IT then which domain?

Noone recruits anyone in December. It is end of year so all budgets have been spent! Job market is also dead January and February.
And then depending on the state of the market, there are then lots of jobs up for grabs in March and April... or else lots of redundancies!

I am from Pakistan-Karachi. recently got EC too and planning to go to UK in November. Thats a bad news. What to do in that case. I am in IT .net field.

I really dont think it matters what month you come to UK, it really depends on your own luck, you might come here in april and wait 6 months to find a job.
