Seniors can tell better as I am not an expert on sexual offences.14years wrote:It is a little complicated but I ll try to explain. I was a stateless when I applied for ILR and naturalisation. But basses of my application was 14 years long residence in the UK. Um it's a bit embarrassing but I guess I have to tell to get a better advice from board members. I paid a girl mate of mine to have sexual intercourse and didn't realise it is against the law to pay some one under 21. She was 19 at that time. As I said home office is aware of it now and it's making me very nervous. Any advice would be much appreciated.
I don't think that it's an offence, if she was over 18. Has the law been changed?14years wrote:I paid a girl mate of mine to have sexual intercourse and didn't realise it is against the law to pay some one under 21. She was 19 at that time.
Thanks for guidance vinny.
Its the underlined part in which police will be interested. If there is insufficient proof of that then he may have nothing to worry about. It is illegal to pay for sex with a person under the age of 18, or a person who has been forced into prostitution.
