Self employed in the UK?

Hello,

I am an IT contractor, and recently I received an offer from an UK company for a temporary contract (6 months).
My question is: What exactly would be the work permit procedure for me if I'm working on a self-employed basis with my company registered in Bulgaria (I am Bulgarian)?
Should I have to register for social security or I can opt out from this?

If the role came via an agency you can't work self-employed on these types of contracts, you have to work through a limited company of ur own, or an umbrella. Either way u will be an employee either of ur own company or the umbrella, ella, ella.

ISTR remember the Conservatives closing that particular route with the Agencies Act or summert similar.
